(This is my first official attempt at Digital Scrapbooking so Lisa and Cinda go easy on the criticism.)
My family sure enjoyed our family service project. It was great to have something fun to do and in the end we didn't bring more "stuff" to our house. Great idea Grandma! We sure missed those of you that couldn't be there.

Hmmmmm I just noticed that I didn't add a journaling box on this. That will have to change!
Version 2 - with a little journaling.

Sledding at the sand dunes...
We spent New Years Day sledding at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. You couldn't ask for a better day. It really was warm, almost too warm with our snow pants and all our gear on. We ended up wearing just our sweatshirts with our snow pants. We took alot of hot chocolate, but hardly drank any of it because it was so warm. We found a perfect hill. Not too big and not too small! And no trees! By the time we were getting ready to leave, tons of people started showing up. A family that lives down the road from us came as we were leaving. We had a really good time. Except for Alee. She kept slipping and falling in the snow. She didn't like that very much at all.

I didn't post anything about Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Mel's parents spent the night with us Christmas Eve and had Christmas morning with us. That was nice. We were traveling home from my sister's in Pleasant Grove on Christmas Eve, so it made the last minute getting ready stuff kind of hectic. I wish I could have stayed there with my family. We have so much fun together.

It was suggested that we post or email a wish list to our givers so the money is spent wisely...
Looking at the Dereret Book I found some fun Christmas books that would be a fun family gift-
The Miricle of the Wooden Shoes by Deberah Pace Rolwley, A Christmas Dress for Ellen by Thomas S Monson & not Christmas but Reflections of Christ by Mark Mabry- I think these are the pictures Mom emailed us a while back???
Add your wish list or just Email it directly to your giver-

Let us know what you would like to do for Christmas this year. 3 options:
Christmas night dinner and gift exchange, etc.
26th: Start at 1:00 (after temple shift) and do activities and supper together. I have the cultural hall reserved so we could spread out and play basketball, other things. I would like us to take an hour or so and do a project for the humanitarian center at D. I. It would be simple.
Sat. 27th: start mid morning and do some of the same things and lunch.
Ideas of things to do? Are there any fun new movies coming out around that time?
Meet in Hurricane and go 4-wheeling? Boating :o) ? HIking? Who knows what the weather will be like that weekend.
We need to think economically about what we do and focused to others.
Some one who knows how to put pictures on this blog willhave to do our wall...but it really does look good. Do each of you want to give us 60 or so diamond blocks for Christmas? Then we could take the brick planter out and ........
Dad enjoyed the hunt. He and Uncle David will be closing up the pavillion for the winter tomorrow. Today we are making pomegranate juice. Do any of you want some? How much?
Please respond ASAP about the holidays. Mom

New Wall
Hey mom...I think you need to post pics of the newly stuccoed wall for those of us that don't get down to St. George very often. We'd love to see how it turned out...Mel and Cinda said it looks good so we want to see it too. We will wait for the pics to be posted. Love you all...Jeff and Ari

Mom's birthday
Here are my pictures from Mom's birthday. I did a little photo-shopping on the picture with great-grandma so we had a good shot of everyone- I thought it turned out pretty good, if you look really closely you can see where things don't quite line up, but I think you really have to look.
